With various business units across the globe knowledge transfer, content creation, management and learning were decentralized and difficult to leverage.
OPPORTUNITY
Design and procure a new global LMS.
ACTIVITIES
Establish global learning requirements and gap analysis of current systems and capabilities; develop initial list of qualified vendors; create RFP and selection criteria; short list to score finalist; finalize SLAs and contract.
RESULTS
Defined global business requirements and goals for the new system as well as the rollout. Established initial RFP and vendor base. Deployment of RFP was delayed due to TYCO spin-off(s) and interruption of single CoE to deliver learning.
