WilsonHCG, a global talent solutions leader, has reinforced its commitment to building disability confidence into recruitment and employment strategies by becoming a Recruitment Industry Disability Initiative (RIDI) Pioneer.

Established in 2011, RIDI works with organisations in the UK to break down the barriers faced by the millions of disabled people who enter or progress through the job market.

“As a RIDI Pioneer, WilsonHCG is committed to inclusive recruitment, challenging the status quo and determined to instigate change and drive momentum,” said Nicky Hale, VP, people & culture at WilsonHCG.

“WilsonHCG has long had a reputation for being a diversity and inclusion leader, even being recognised by Staffing Industry Analysts and Profiles in Diversity for our work in the area. Becoming a RIDI Pioneer means we can continue to develop and share best practices in inclusive hiring across the industry,” Lesley Taylor, SVP of talent operations at WilsonHCG, added.

Around 22% of the population in the UK, which is equivalent to 14.6 million people, have a disability, according to the latest Family Resources Survey
